Robert Powers

Bob earned an A.A.S. and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Akron. His initial career path led him through tire machine design, followed by plastic injection mold design, plastic product design, and ultimately process engineering. Bob's journey with Primerica began in late 2003 after he first became a client. He holds Ohio life, health, and personal lines insurance licenses, in addition to Series 6, 63, and 65 investment licenses, and became Series 26 Principal licensed in 2014. His office is based in Fairlawn, but he is willing to serve clients through house calls or via video conferencing. Bob's mission is to help individuals get properly protected, debt-free, and financially independent. He is passionate about teaching people the ins and outs of financial literacy "in English" and enjoys assisting small businesses with retirement planning. Married to Amy since 1998, Bob is a father to two children, aged 12 and 15. He also runs a YouTube channel he started in late 2016, which has garnered a little over 15,000 subscribers. Initially focusing on men's classic and vintage dress shoes and attire, Bob has expanded his channel's content to include vlogging about the restomodding (restoring with modifications) of his 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass S. His YouTube handle is "Cobbler Bob."
